You did it! You finally booked your vehicle in for the clean that it needs. Now that you're paying someone to do the job, how do you get the most out of it? 1. Empty your vehicle - that's right, empty. When was the last time your vehicle was empty? When you bought it? If you bought it used you might have even inherited a few things. In your detailer's perfect world every vehicle arrives empty (feel free to leave the garbage though, we'll dispose of that for you). We do understand that we don't live in a perfect world so if you forget and leave your gym bag, the kids' emergency supplies and that flat of pop you were going to bring in don't sweat. We will remove these items and you can choose what to keep when you come back to pick up your vehicle. If when you arrive your vehicle has everything you own in it please know that emptying your vehicle takes away from the time (and therefore results) of cleaning your vehicle. 2. Talk to your detailer - arrive our recommended 10 minutes early for your appointment and when the YXE Quick Clean team member comes to talk with you and collect your keys tell them what is driving you crazy about your vehicle. You hatethe sticky stuff beside the seat belt, the finger prints on the visor drive you wild and you know you didn't get that spilled latte fully cleaned up between the seat and the centre console. Your detailing team wants to give you exactly what you're looking for. Lay out what you want and we'll do our best to get you there. 3. Set your expectations - it's important to know what you want. Are you bringing in a 2015 Ford Edge that has never been cleaned? Chances are you're not going to drive away with a vehicle that looks like it's just come off the showroom floor. We'll do our very best to get you back that new car feeling but please know we use the proper tools, chemicals and hard work. Not magic. 4. Don't rush - if you can't return to pick up your vehicle during our opening hours or it would make your life easier to drop off early let us know. We've upgraded to a fancy digital key dropbox (developed by a Saskatonian!) for just this reason. We can take your payment over the phone and you can pick up whenever is convenient for you (the Midtown parkade is only closed from midnight to 2am).
